In all dragon pattern knives in Nepal, the carving of the dragon pattern is the final step after the completion of the entire knife. Many manufacturers, in order to make carving easier and more efficient, either do not temper the blade or simply temper it to a low hardness, selling the knives in a soft steel state. This allows the carver to carve the dragon pattern more easily, and the efficiency is much higher compared to knives with higher hardness. Currently, many knife shops in Tamir and Bokara in Nepal sell dragon pattern knives that more or less exhibit this situation. However, we have eliminated knives with a hardness below 55HRC after multiple quality checks. Additionally, we have dedicated craftsmen for the carving process, as it is done by hand and takes a full two days to complete each knife.
